Choosing Credit Cards wisely
In our review of credit card resources we were asked to review Small Business Credit Card services. At credit card search engine they offer a lot of resources on Identity Theft Protection, Choosing the right credit card, and many other useful articles for those of us who like to buy on credit. The site is geared to helping small businesses to find the right card that help them manage their business expenses.
Their article on choosing the right card was insightful. Like most of us we are bombarded with credit card offers weekly. I received one recently where they were offering 0% for 18 months on all purchases. WOW! That is free money I thought. Then after looking closely at the offer, you had to transfer a balance of at least $100. For most people, if you just do this, pay off the transfer amount first and then use the card you are fine. If you however, transfer a balance (which by the way the interest rate on the balance transfer is 13%) you have to pay off the lower APR balance first. Which in this case is your purchases. So, you transfer over $100, and then use the card as normal, you will only pay off the Higher APr, if you pay in full.
The 0 credit card is used for paying money and it is very convenient to use. The amex or American Express is the biggest credit card company in US and also in the entire world.
